Seton Hall University Mobile
The Situation
SHU wished to capitalize on the mobile technology already used by students, faculty and staff to improve administrative processes, community engagement and access to course information.
The Impact
We conducted on-site user research with current students to discover what would enhance the daily lives. SHU provided incoming freshmen with a high-end mobile device (Nokia N96) pre-installed with an integrated campus calendar and class contact information (available as of October 2008), followed by a rollout of more features, including class registrations and campus cash, over the months to come.
